In the event of card theft or loss, customers are without their essential financial support and are exposed to the risks of serious financial loss and fraud.
Card protection from LSG operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to assist customers in preventing fraud and recover their ability to spend normally in a timely manner - emergency cash is usually available in the meantime. We currently provide this service to over half a million customers in the UK.
A loss is likely to be broader than just the cards. A range of additional insurances exist within the product including client branded key recovery services, emergency cash services, passport and driving licence cover, identity theft services and replacing the bag or wallet which contained the cards at the time of loss. At risk customers are also registered with CIFAS.
