How to make a claim.
If you're in the UK:
- Call 08456 74 33 33 within 7 days of the incident occurring.
- For loss, theft and malicious damage claims you must contact the Police within 7 days of the incident to obtain a crime/loss reference number.
If you're overseas:
- Call 08456 74 33 33 within 7 days of returning to the UK or within 30 days of the incident, whichever is sooner.
- Report loss, theft or malicious damage claims to the relevant local authorities within 7 days and obtain a crime/loss reference number. We will need this in order to process your claim.
It's best to call as soon as you know there's a problem. Then we can stop anyone using your device who shouldn't be. Please note; the insurance does not provide cover for any calls, texts or data used once your device has gone missing.
Once you've made the call:
- Your claim will be logged and, for devices connected to the mobile network, the SIM stopped from working and the device blacklisted to prevent anyone from using it.
- Delivery of your new SIM will be arranged.
- If your device has been lost or stolen, we aim to send out a replacement device within 48 hours. Just so you know, we replace on a like-for-like basis and may use refreshed devices to do this. But don't worry, all our refreshed devices go through rigorous quality checks and are all refreshed to a high standard.
- If your phone or mobile device has been damaged, we aim to have it repaired and sent back to you within 1 working day of receiving it in our Repair Centre.
