How to make a Virgin Mobile Phone Insurance Claim
It’s quick and easy to make a claim online. Just make sure you’ve followed the steps below, then you can get started with your claim:
- If your phone is lost, stolen or damaged maliciously, make sure you inform the Police within 24 hours of discovery and obtain an incident reference number
- If your phone has been lost or stolen you will need to call the Virgin Mobile team on
0845 6000 789* within 24 hours of discovery to bar your SIM card - this stops anyone else from making any further calls from your phone. Please have your mobile number and phone IMEI handy.
- If your phone is faulty or mechanically damaged, you will need to call the Virgin Mobile team on 0845 6000 789* within 24 hours of discovery to check whether you are covered under manufacturers warranty
- You will need to provide proof of purchase for your handset
When that’s done, you can either register your claim online or by phone:
- Make sure you register your claim within 48 hours of discovery unless you are outside the UK and unable to contact LSG, then you must call them within 48 hours of return to the UK, and 30 days upon discovery of the incident.

Sending your claim by post?
Make sure you complete your claim form in full and post it back to LSG within 14 days. And don’t forget to include your excess payment and any supporting documents.
As soon as they’ve looked at your claim, they’ll get in touch to let you know if your claim is successful.
